Tap the gear icon inside Smart Study to unlock Steerable Smart Study, a customizable mode that lets you guide how Thea quizzes you in real time. 

• You can tell Thea things like: 

• Focus more on this one topic 

• Use more textbook-style language 

• Give me more math problems 

• Make the questions harder 

Thea instantly adjusts its approach based on your instructions. It’s like having a tutor who really listens (and recalibrates on the spot). 

2. Use Question History 

Finished a Smart Study session? Don’t close out just yet. 

Tap Question History to see every question you were asked, along with your answers and anything you got wrong. This is one of the fastest ways to identify weak spots, review mistakes while they’re still fresh, and reinforce the correct answers before moving on. 

Our engineers swear by this step because it turns practice into retention, not just repetition. 

3. Toggle Flashcards 

Inside Flashcards, tap the flip icon to switch between Normal Mode for quick reviews and Spaced Repetition Mode for long-term memory building. 

Cramming for a quiz later today? Normal Mode works great. Studying for a final weeks away? Spaced Repetition helps information stick over time. Switching between the two lets you study with intention instead of defaulting to the same routine every time. 

4. Break Big Study Kits Into Smaller Sections 

One of the most common mistakes students make is creating one massive Study Kit for an entire course, especially before finals.
