One-size-fits-all study tools? Not here. Thea’s Steerable Smart Study puts you in the driver’s seat, giving you full control over how—and what—you want to study. 

If you're prepping for an exam, reviewing class notes, or diving into a personal interest, Smart Study adjusts to your goals. And with a few quick clicks, you can fine-tune it even further for a fully personalized experience. 

Tap the Gear, Take Control 

When you're in Smart Study mode, look to the right of the progress bar—you’ll see a small gear icon. Click it, and you’ll unlock a full customization menu that lets you tailor your study session from start to finish. 

Here’s what you can do: 

• Choose your question types: Multiple choice? Short answer? Mix it up or focus on the format you need most. 

• Set your difficulty: Need an easier warm-up? Want to challenge yourself? You’re in control. 

• Direct the focus: Type in exactly what you want to study—specific topics, skill levels, or even styles of questions. 

  
  

Make Thea Work for You 

Let’s say you’re studying AP Biology, but you’re feeling confident and want to push yourself further. You can literally tell Thea: 

“Ask me college-level questions on cellular respiration.”  And just like that, you’ll get a more advanced set of questions, no extra prep required. 

Or maybe you’re prepping for a midterm in Art History, but only need help with one section. You can type: 

“Only test me on ancient Mediterranean art.”  And Thea will filter everything down to just what you need.
